Has anyone bought 6630 on 3 network on UK?

I saw this offer. It looks very good. What is the catch?

And I know the browser will be locked to 3 sites.. but can you
- get to gmail friom browser
- will gmail work on the email app ( i know it works well on later firmware versions of 6630).

The catch is that it's an 18 month contract and the other 6 months are at £30

12*£5(£60) + 6*£30(£180) = £240

back to £30 per month for the other 4 months...The catch is its all by
redemption, but overall...

8 @ 0.99p = £7.92
4 @ £30 = £120
TOTAL £127.92

Actually you really pay
3 @ £15 = £ 45
9 @ £30 = £270
less 2 redemptions @ £93.54
TOTAL £127.92
....but it all comes out in the wash

Sounds good to me, might have to go for this! I assume that you can get an unlock code from 3?

Just rang up 3 and they want £115 to unlock it!!!!!!!

I've got an old genie sim that i want in it so paying that much to unlock it kind of defeats the point of paying £127 in the first place, damn..
