1) You will need a file manager app. to delete the files. Fileman from GoSymbian is free and excellent.

2) Smartmovie will play .avi files. I'm not sure about .rm, but you could try the free Helix player (next version of Real Player), or convert the files to .3gp on a PC first.

Yes, "Fileman from GoSymbian" means the FExplorer file manager app from http://www.gosymbian.com/

Oops, yes, I did...sorry.

There's one called FileMan as well (think symbiango do it) - I have both installed on my phone and just got the names mixed up... :(

Koso - check out this section from a very experienced Symbian user:

http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/viruses.htm

Do not bother with antivirus - it is a waste of time. What's not a waste of time though is an app called TaskSpy - Keeps track of open apps and can allow you to close down things at will. Its freeware - go get it.

Hmm...it could be your GPRS settings on your phone - your best bet is to use the OTA configuration on Sendo's website. I rarely use my phone as a laptop modem as it really, REALLY eats into your phone bill. If its just for web browsing and whatever, stick with Opera on the sendo itself.

As for viruses - the media loves it when a new virus appears - it makes for great scare stories, which of course sell papers. The only Symbian viruses I know of were done as proof of concept - i.e. they were created under test conditions and then sent straight to an antivirus company. I would safely say that you are more likely to get struck by lightning and then a meteorite than get a Symbian virus. Provided you aren't using software from "dodgy" suppliers (you know what I'm talking about), then your phone will never, repeat, never get infected.

I had this problem. It was an application (fs caller? don't know) that can display the picture of who call's.
I've uninstall it and it worked!
Hope that helps.

The exact same problem I had - I'm trying to track down an earlier version - apparently v3.13 worked OK. Stuclark said he'd send me a copy.

Sendo informed me a while back that they have tested most cards including ones up to 1GB so you should be OK!

Ditto - just remember to format it using FAT (not FAT32) so your card reader can read it as well.

The X and X2 support up to 2GB memory cards. My X has been running on a 1GB card for a long time with no problems, and I know that at least one person at Sendo is using a 1GB card in their X2.
