Hi,
I was quiet surprised to read this :
The other addition QuickContact has over the built-in Contacts app is in the categories section. Normally on UIQ devices you can assign a single category to a contact. QuickContact allows you to assign more than one category to each contact. If the whole category thing is something you use extensively, then this option alone could make QuickContact a worthwhile purchase.
And as it uses the built in contacts database, then these edits are happily picked up when you synchronise to your Desktop Computer.
As far as I know, you don't synchronise the categories with your desktop on the Pxxx. It's even the major drawback of this platform for me as I do use them extensively on my PC.
Well I did a look around and it appeared to, although I;ve not got categories running on my desktop PC. Best go and double check I think!
