I've bought a 6630 today. i wonder if i have to charge it for along time(12hr.) before using it????!!! :cool:

3 hours should be enough for any Lithium Ion battery according to this: http://www.buchmann.ca/Chap4-page8.asp

Its says in the book to give at least 4 hours which is good compared to old phones which need 16-24 hours, once it says battery is fully charged then its done

Hey,

Yeah once a lithium polymer cell is charged it will not accept anymore and so leaving it on the charger is useless.
Also they do not gain any benefit from 'Cycling' like a normal NiCad would.

Thought some of you may like to see this. I use lithium polymer cells in my hobby & it has been known for them to explode in some circumstances.
Well mine did, luckily I wasn't near it.
