Decided to bite the bullet and try to get my head round C++ in the hope of writing some decent applications for the series 60 (J2ME is just a little bit too limited :) )

I was just wondering if any of you guys have bought any of the (4) books available from Amazon on Symbian programming and if you could tell us what you thought of them (I noticed the 'Programming for the Series 60 Platform and Symbian OS' is still not available!)

From my Java programming (specifically J2EE) I've always thought Wrox books were quite good - but the two on Amazon get a bit of a slating on the reviews...

I went to my local Waterstones (or whatever their are caaled) Bok Store and they said that the Series 60 book will be released on the 15th of November! In the meantime to get you going read the PDF files in the Symbian SDK folder!
