I just purchased my Nokia 7710 [V 03.04.3 02-02-05 RM-12], I have 1 GB MMC for storing & me too find a similar problem.. As i downloaded application from Nokia site (.SIS) files. when i try to install thru Application Manager it install successfully.. But no shortcut is created on the desk nor I can execute the application.. Could anyone please tell me what to do.. how to run them... when I open Appl. Manager it displays a list of application which I have installed. but unable to execute...

The (.SIS file) are compatible with Symbian 90 series....

kindly let me know... As I desparately need it...

Try rebooting. One thing I know in 7710 is that to really reboot you should take the battery out, wait for 10 secs and then boot again.

Please check if the Nokia 7710 can take a 1 G MMC card?

Yeah, I'm using the 7710 with a TwinMOS 1GB MMC card without any problems.

Me Too using one Gb Card with out any problem
but it hangs offenly i think it is quiet comman that 7710 hangs.
