Well Im try up to giga without any problems or noticable slow down in performance...

I am using a NCP branded 1GB MMC in mine 6600. No problems whatsoever, the card is fast in response, all apps installed on it run perfect and Phillips Camcoder does record WITH sound when using that card.

The usable memory is 980 megabytes.

See my above post... it's (the 6600) DEFINITELY able to use 1-Gigabyte MMC's since i use one since a while and have no problems whatsoever.
