Is MMC the memory cards u put at the back of the fone in the game slot?? if it is do u need it to upload files to ur ngage using USB and how does the USB work??

Yes, the cards are MMC (MultiMedia Card) type memory cards.

The N-Gage USB connection (when a memory card is in the phone), has support for so called "USB mass storage", which makes the memory card visible as a new disk/drive-letter (on Windows, at least). Any files you put on that drive will be saved directly onto the memory card in the phone.

When i plug in my phone to the pc every once in a while i see the message sometimes but it doesnt show up as a removable drive. Why is that?? Does it mean i need to purchase a MMC??
