When installing symbian 8.1b, it doesnt install the binaries for wins even though the option is checked. But all the binaries required for winscw get installed properly.

The binaries and library files for wins especially the ones in the folder "bin/techview/epoc32/release/wins/udeb" which are required for building the program using vc6/vc.net are not available in the installation.

How to build and execute the techview applications using vc6 or vc.net?
(These applications build and execute well under winscw using code warrior)
