Maybe can write one when I have acquired the skill :) kanwaloswa 31-01-2005, 08:22 AM Actually, I was trying to survey and see what applications that phone users like us need. Maybe can write one when I have acquired the skill :) Try the 'Switcher' made for communictor works well with 7710.. Allows users to manager processes.. (kill processes, free memory etc) Some 7710 apps do not have EXIT, as result, the apps keep running in memory.. To release memory and see tasks running use switcher.... can16358p 13-02-2005, 12:53 PM Maybe a very silly question, but does Series 60 applications work on 7710? I know they are different platforms but just not sure. Delta737 13-02-2005, 01:28 PM No they don't. SOME Series 80 apps do work however bigeddie 14-02-2005, 02:23 AM Hi guys, What applications do you think is useful to be on the 7710? i will want the time/date to shown on the desktop the most, a UK road map/GPS will be good as well, the memory free-up idea was really good. or u can write something to get the phone online via bluetooth connection :D vina1077 14-03-2005, 11:14 AM » SmartMovie » Pocket Quran » Mobipocket Reader 4.8 » S90Capture 1.0 All these are available for 7710 at" my-symbian" website & they r updated frequently. In future we will have more s/w for 7710 Do u have the Pocket Quran program for 7710? Because i want it badly zainman 14-03-2005, 12:53 PM he mentioned that pocket Quran can be found at www.my-symbian.com you can purchase it from there.. shame83 16-03-2005, 08:04 PM There is a pdf reader named pdf+ in www.my-symbian.com download section it develops for 7710. it's free But it isn't working so good in my 7710, i can open the pdf files but when i press "next page" then it closes itself. maybe you can try it. if you try, please tell me the result. http://my-symbian.com/s90/download/search.php?name=Pdf shame83 19-03-2005, 08:16 AM There is a new internet messaging software named "IM+ Mobile Instant Messenger" That's not free but you can download free trial. you can find it here http://shop.my-symbian.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=695&jid=6EABX1E6E6168DE7CC654X2E25335556¤cy=O2&platformId=4&productType=2&catalog=0&sectionId=0&productId=160054 jjazz 03-04-2005, 06:33 PM :icon14: http://www.geocities.com/ebooknokia/ - FREE ebook reader for 7710. Author say "for 9200", but I tried on 7710 - works well. Bo Steel 04-04-2005, 04:34 AM I saw the DVD Player on my-symbian and looks good as well... tried to download the application and get some files, but the darn thing does not work. tsupatsupa 05-04-2005, 01:03 PM the phone has pretty much evrything, my opinion no additional application is required. Delta737 05-04-2005, 02:25 PM I disagree. The Real player is not "all that" shame83 05-04-2005, 06:09 PM i'm little disappointed with 7710. i used it barely 1 month. there is no useful applications. i'm bored of waiting applications. There is only names; lemonade tycoon, f-secure anti virus, blah blah... but where is these? the phone is useless without applications. My old series 60 7610 has more functions and fun than "newest" 7710. There is plenty of games and applications for series 60. i pay that phone nearly 1000$ (in turkey) and i can play only stupid flash games. This is ridiculous. this is a lesson to learn. Don't buy the first phone of newest serie... Bo Steel 06-04-2005, 02:32 AM I totally agree with you, I thought it should support and have all apps, now I am regrettig buying the damn thing. I should have read the mobile-review article on this phone before buying it. The only plus side realyy is that I can listen to music via the Music player to my bluetooth headset. naustej 06-04-2005, 03:43 PM I disagree. The Real player is not "all that" the real player only supports small resolution tanetov 23-04-2005, 01:54 PM I think that something like screensaver would be nice, vith a big clock, digital or analog, because this original screensaver, the one that is switched on when you lock the keybord, is to small. And a doc converter, so we can use the Word files. shame83 23-04-2005, 05:10 PM i agree with you... i think something like fullscreen caller (series 60 application) would be nice. The Phone has a "huuugee" widescreen, but when somebody calls you it shows a "tiny little" photo of the caller. thats ridiculous and laughable :) isolde 25-04-2005, 12:51 PM I wan tthis phone when it's out in Australia, I've been visiting other forums, this is taken from a few different ones hope it helps: Games for 7710 http://store3.data.bg/kirilneshev/ [URL REMOVED] [URL REMOVED] [url]http://www.harmonicode.com/EEMame/ http://picodrive.atspace.com/ Software [url]http://my-symbian.com/main/index5.php http://rapidshare.de/files/1013304/...g_2_70.zip.html http://www.forummobiles.com/index.p...33&hl=microsoft http://my-symbian.com/main/index5.php?cat=5 Pocket Oxford English Dictionary for Series 90 by Mobile Systems is a reissue of the ninth edition of the world's longest-established pocket English dictionary by Oxford University Press.
