View Full Version : Which IR or Bluetooth adapter for the pc works with 7650?!?!

21-10-2002, 05:26 AM
I have recently brought a bluetooth adapter AND a IR adapter - both which wont connect with the mRouter. With the bluetooth, my Pc (running XP) recognised the phone but wouldnt let me make a "serial connection" which is needed to connect to PC Suite. Can anyone tell me an IR or bluetooth device that DEFINITELY workus with a 7650 and XP?

Cheers :o

I did not have a problem with mrouter, there is a registry fix with all dongles that use the widcomm stack explained in this forum! I use it and everything works fine with Win XP pro

I just tested the BlueShark USB adapter this morning, and it works fine. Made in Korea, I think. Comes as a pair of adapters in a kit with a CD, tho' you only need one, of course...use the other for another PC or laptop!

MSI Bluetooth is working fine for me, both Windows XP Pro and XP Home. I also notice that many peoples in this forum still have problems with it.

I got those ones silver ones with the antenna that goes up on the side and two leds on the top. No name they are rebranded, by loads of companies.

They work very well too.
Been playing with Bemused and controlling my 1200 collections of tunes from me bed :D

SUPERB!
