I got an SX1 on O2 (uk) for christmas,
but the mp3 aplication doesn't seem to be there. only an fm radio.
do I need to download an mp3 player to the phone? if so how do I do this?
I transferred an mp3 file to the phone, but when I found it in the file manager, there was a red cross beside it. pfft!

I only want one song, so I can use it as a ringtone.
as I play mp3s on my mp3 player. lol.

if anyone can help explain this to me as I'm a complete novice! It would be greatly appriecated!!

Mp3Player must be in Music Menu,If it isn't i think you must update

FirmWare.

The Current Firmware version for various Variants is 14 or 15.

yea try updating, it up to firmware 15 right now, and i think they did something to the mp3 player, but im not sure...

otherwise take the phone back to a siemens service center

in theo2 one the mp3 player in in the music shop

goto musicshop -> my music ... the just select a song to play
