Just bought this phone off Ebay, and it looks and works fine, apart from the colour screen, which looks really washed out and with very little colour. Anyone any ideas?

I've tried changing the themes, and the brightness, but I guess what I really need is a contrast button! Its a Xmas pressie for my g/f so need to get it sorted quickly.

In comparison, my Nokia 7610 looks like glorious technicolour and this looks almost black and white :-(

I've explored this issue a little further, and it seems that ( referring to my original posting ) the colours on the phone I have just bought are perfectly normal. I've been into Carphone Warehouse and looked at the phone instore and the colours do come across as much fainter than on my 7610. I would say that on that specific criteria, the 7610 knock spots off the 6260, much clearer and better resolution.

Anyway, mystery solved, no need to panic Mr Mainwaring.
