Okay, okay.. yes i know its old...

But i'm trying to install software on it.. now i don't have IR on my computer or a data cable.. so what i do is.. i transfer everything to my 6600 Memory card (which the 9110 refuses to read for some reason) and then infra-red it to my 9110. The problem is it transfers to "downloaded files" and when i open in the installer on the phone it opens it up in the text editor... so it doesnt install instead it shows me the coding for the installer.. because its saved under notes> downloaded files..

what do i do?

1) Create "Install" folder in the root of the MMC, using File Explorer", in N6600.
2) Copy/move 9110 installation files into this folder.
3) Put the card into 9110.
4) On 9110, select "Installation from MMC". as a source. Target must be "device", and not "MMC", of course.
5) Don't forget to delete the "Install" folder and installation files as soon as you finish.

I tried it but as soon as i put the mmc in and turned the phone back on it just said "This memory card cannot be used in the communicator".. so i pressed ok.. and in the install utility i tried to change the install source to memory card but it was greyed out.. so i couldnt use that... n then i went to the memory card utility n went to "check card" it said "Invalid memory card. Format the memory card". So i go to ok again, and then i go to format.. and it says it needs to restart to continue n then it restarts.. but nothing happens it still can't read the card.... any ideas?

My computer and phone read it just fine..

It seems that the card is not compatible with N9110. You probably have to use another (compatible) MMC.

But - try to format this MMC first in N9210 or in the reader, then again in N9110.
