If I have my phone paired up with my laptop thru bluetooth usb dongle, and I've got internet connection either thru cable or adsl on my laptop, can I access the internet from my phone as well?

Yes, it's very easy. Connect the phone to your computer with "Desktop Suite" in the Launcher menu. Then, go to "Phone", open up the "Settings -> Network" menu item, and change the "Band". Don't let it find another operator (press "Cancel"). Now, your phone will use your computer as an internet gateway. This doesn't work with the Messaging application, though.
