Hi,
I would prefer previewing the Apps & Themes on my PC before moving them to my 6600. Can i do this? Is there any such emulator/simulator available?

you can download the nokia theme studio for 6600 from nokia site which will allow u to view the themes on ur pc as well as create new themes!
and as for the links NO WAREZ LINKS should be given as it will only get u banned.

I didnt meant to violate any rule. I just was helping others. Anyways, i got my lesson & will keep this in mind from next time :)
So? Any .SIS previewer for PC?

As I told you you have to download Nokia Theme Studio for series 60 to view .sis files on your PC or to create your own themes.

Note that The Series 60 Theme Studio doesn't, however, open protected themes (the developer/designer can mark them protected when the theme .sis file is created).

And to view them,you need to put the .sis file in Program files/theme studio/data/skins dir folder, then click on sis files in theme studio to view it,
There will be no edit option tho as N/A has said. :)

yup,
i got that one... but how to preview/emulate .SIS "applications" on PC before transferring them to 6600?
& ya, i'm on Linux... so any Theme Creator/Editor for Linux? or i have to resort to using wine/crossover-office...

The Series 60 Theme Studio installs on Windows 2000/Windows XP only (much/most of the app seems to be written in Java/J2SE, though, but there are parts that are Windows executables).
