does anyone know if the wireless keyboards for PDAs work on the 6600?

I've got a "Belkin Wireless PDA keyboard" at home, and I was wondering if it'll work on my 6600...

Has anyone used it before? If so, can you please tell me where you can find a driver suitable for this for the 6600?

TIA everyone! :)

Basically you need a driver for the keyboard to work, I looked at the page you pointed to and it seems that it doesn't. I wouldn't choose an IR one myself as the port is on the side off the phone (there are apparently ones that get around this by having a movable transmitter) and it takes more power. There are BT ones available, and there is the Nokia one coming out sometime.

Example BT keyboard (http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t_id=955&t_mode=des)

I haven't tried any myself but I am considering one.

Has anybody had a go at trying to connect the Nokia Wireless Keyboard to the 6600? Nokia say its not compatible. Only 3230, 6260, 6630, 6670 and 7610 are supported. In an article I read that HID (Human Interface Device Bluetooth profile) is required. Does the 6600 have that?

The 6600 does not have Bluetooth HID profile built-in.

It is a hardware thing, the same as the audio profile was left off the chip for the 7650.
