I suppose you must be tlaking about High Speed Circuit Switched Data (otherwise know as HSCSD). My understanding is that Orange is the only Operator supporting this, but I could be wrong.

In the UK, only Orange offer it. You get 28.8k download. I've tried it (not with a 7650) and it works well.

And now the good news. Usually, calls using it are not included in your inclusive free minutes. They are usually charged at 25p per minute any time. Can make surfig the web a stressfull business if you are footing the bill. Or if the boss likes to keep an eye on the bill for that matter.

Orange arn't totally stupid, "Not as fast" data calls are cheaper and can be part of your inclusive minutes.

Actually, from what I can make out (and I might be wrong) about this. Vodafone(UK) data calls are 9.6K max. Orange standard data calls can be 14.4K (without paying through the nose).

I pay 0.11€ per minut, that's about 0.0733 GBP per minut

If you are thinking of switching, make sure you have a number you can dial that is included in your free minutes (assuming you have any).

If these are correct, then 0870 would be a better option than 0845. Orange Value Promice rates tend to be different.

I am currently using 0845 to dial my ISP. Vodafone used to include it with your minutes but I think there trying to move everyone over to GPRS for data so they make more money :evil:

As others have said, it's HSCSD, that only Orange offer.

It's useful to note that Orange will support 14.4k GSM for the same price as 9.6k.

It's acctually cheaper for a faster connection from Orange compared with Vodafone.
