Im going to be getting a new MMC card (sandisk 128). I currently have ringtones and programs installed on my 32mb. Do I have to uninstall them before I put in the new card or what?

I read the sticky with the phone codes and found the soft format which essentially rclears all memory, does this include all programs? Would this be safe to do and then put in the new card and reinstall all apps?

Well if u want to put all the application in 128 card then u need card reader and u can put all the files of 32 mb in computer then u can insert the 128 card and put the files there.

And if u soft format your phone then your phone would have orignal setting and files all files like lincence code etc of the application are install in c' and they too will remove.
if u want to do just create a back up in mmc and then u can format if u able to lost any thing then u can restore it.

I have a MMC card reader built into my laptop so I guess I do that. No sense formatting and spending all that time setting it up again.
