Hi
I got my 6600 almost two weeks ago. This is a great phone but I need your help with solving few issues :
1. Auto Key lock - This is a must have feature that I think I do not have or at least could not find. Can anyone help here?
2. Email - I tried ActiveMail and it doesn't work so well. Amy other recommendation?
3. Earphone problem - Well I know it is a sirious problem but has anyone found a solution? whenever my BT headset is connected, I can not hear the ring. It plays only in the headset.

Thanks in advance.

There is no feature for the autokey lock, but I found this small program "Keylocker" and it is great, does everything I wanted to do. Here is the link:

1. Auto Key lock - goto... menu/tools/settings/security/phone and sim/autolock period.change the option to user defined and you are good to go.

2. Email - Profimail 1.05 rocks...

3. Earphone problem - i know man...i have the same problem called both the device company and nokia.... they say it is actually a driver fault.

Lay back and have fun.

1. I tried it. this makes you put a 5 digit code to open the keypad. Way to much. This is a feature of every nokia phone ffor years. Why is it missing in thier flagship?
2. Thanks will check it.
3. I heared about this problem from many other users. how hard can it be to fix it? Why are they not doing anything? Can anyone write a registry hack to fix this?

1. JJLKeyLock: http://my-symbian.com/7650/applications/applications.php?fldAuto=650&faq=2

3. Said to be fixed in firmware 5.27, but I can't verify (I don't have a 6600 with 5.27).

Also: There are no "registry hacks" for Symbian operating system based phones. There is no "registry" in Symbian OS. It is a Microsoft Windows thingy.

As above,

2, I have been using the inbuilt app for email since my 7650, with no problems, I have never really understood the need for another one. ( although I did try Profimail recently and it did seem slicker, but still happy with the OS one)
