The reason for my post was to see if anyone else had come across this problem, and had solved it. elton 04-10-2004, 06:27 PM Ah,sorry mate Good point, its always best to know before! If the format doesnt work, its not the end of the world as it will only need a software flash which is not expensive, but you should consider it in the price of the phone. Good luck. :) toonburner 04-10-2004, 07:28 PM Ah,sorry mate Good point, its always best to know before! Thanks Elton, appreciated. RobbieM 27-04-2007, 12:42 PM I was getting the "phone start up failed contact the retailer" message and I bought the phone back to my service provider for repair. They said the PCB board had bent due to overheating!! So they gave me a new n70 plus the old phone. I just did a hard reset followed by an update and bob's yer uncle... n70 x 2 !!!! Ps: Try the hard reset with the sim out. Mine wouldn't reset with it still in?? (*3 and green for about 3mins!!) I also had the mmc out? not sure if this makes a difference? haija 31-10-2009, 04:18 AM Thanks dude! it works for my noikia 7610 too, thank you very much. |
