Whenever I turn on my new 6620 it requires me to reset the time and date. It always goes back to the factory default. Any suggestions? Should I send it back now.

Try menu -> Settings -> Date and time -> Auto time update -> off

My guess is that it is "on" and your operator's network doesn't support the feature (all don't). If that's not the case, then I don't know.
