Actually if memory serves me right I just did a google search on the SX1 and it came up in the top few. Never loooked back - or forward cos its the side on collisions that hurt the most.

I don't remember exactly. When I intended to buy a SE P800 I somehow ended up here. After making a few "guest"-posts I decided to join, and I've never left any since :D

I join this forum in Jan 04 when i was finding themes for my 6600.
before i was using 7650 and 9210 (Symbian Devices)but i really feel very limited scope
but when i become and saw AAS.
I really feel good bcoz i can see many persom which are crazy abt MobilePhone like me.
AAS helps and keep on helping me to Understand my phone more more and more.
and the problem which i was facing from 18 month in AAS i find the Sloution in Less than 18 Hrs

I joined after trading my T68i in for a 7650, I got bored at work so decided to see if the 7650 did anything interesting....wasn't I in for a suprise :o

Well this thread brought back memories.
I remember that I was searching info for the 7650 just for fun. I somehow fell in love with it (although at first I didn't like) when I found out that it was not just a simple phone but a smartphone (a word that it was unknown for me till then). While reading a review a searched more and found the AAS. It was the first forum I have ever posted...

I've made a couple of posts as a guest. After buying the 7650 (which I didn't plan to do so) I became a member, and somehow the adiction with the forum was bigger even than the adiction with my new phone...

Maybe because I found the environment at AAS very friendly. Maybe because it was one of the few symbian related forums (the only alternative back then was my-symbian). Maybe because moderators were not just moderators (people with power - also the top poster then, Malebuffy, was from Greece).

Too bad I don't have the free time I had back then...

As much as I remember after making more than 2000 (useful and helpful) posts one of the moderators made him too a mod. I strongly believe that he deserved it as he is one of the few that examine most of the posts in the huge (right now) AAS forum. And that's why he has more than 6000 posts... :)

I joined this forum when I was searching for things for my Nokia 3650. I first went to the Homepage, looked at it, then I looked at the forum. The first thing that struck me was the organised form. I was really impressed how organised each forum is in AAS. At that time I felt like throwing my 3650 in the garbage- useless, too bulky and somehow I didn't feel happy with it. Then, I joined the forum and realised how expandable the 3650 is - I mean how capable it is after reading threads in the 3650 forum. Now my 3650 is my pride and prized pocession. I absolutely refuse to go anywhere without it! And only due to this forum I've been able to appreciate my 3650!!! [Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit here, but REALLY, this forum is the forum I visit everyday, and I REALLY LIKE THIS FORUM!]

OK, now I see but you've blown your cover. By day a mild mannered janitor named Rafe, by night a super hero called Admin.

The story is an old one, while working on a forum Rafe receieved an electric shock as he did some vb programming. When Rafe woke from his "shock" he realised that some extraordinary powers had been bestowed upon him. As his AAS domain grew he recruited help from other mere mortals and perfected the electric shock treatment which he used in turn to increase the powers that his team had. One day a renegade mod started their own warez forum and there has been a vicous struggle between good and evil ever since.

At the time I had just got a 9210 but cannot remember how I found the site.

I joined two years ago when I had a problem with my 9210. For a long time since I never left, the forum and the people here were too much fun :D

Unfortunately life has interfered.. and I only check in periodically. Maybe after getting the new communicator (sometime soon I hope) I'll be having problems again and I have to return ;)

Well seeing a load of friendly faces, I've reappeared after the best part of a year, various things taking my time. Anywho here I am. I became a member of AAS about the time that it took over from AllAboutER6, which I joined after deciding to get a 9210 and looking for information to finally justify my purchase. Member 129 btw.
