I would like to customize my wallpaper / backround on my brand new QD but I have tried the theme changer for series 60 but it says that it is not compatible with my QD...I just want to add some different wallpapers? I tried coverting them to MBM files...but the editor does not compress in RLE format...so that doesnt work...any help would be great...

Just forget all that stuff and just send any image (jpg,bmp, gif ...) to the phone, and make sure it's in an c:\nokia\images or e:\images\ map.

Now go to Menu-Tools - Settings - Device - standby mode- background and select "YES" (even if it's already selected) you can now choose your wallpaper

BTW wallpapers only have to be 176*132 in pixel size, of course they may be larger.

Themes do not equal wallpaper. To change the wallpaper, do what Dazler said, and wallpapers will aut scale if you drop a VGA rez pic in there.
