Hi, I've got a Nokia 6600 and I've tried to send photos to other infrared enabled phones (7250i etc), but then, at first, it says "connecting", then "sending", then "connecting" again, and after a minute or so, it says "sending failed"...

Is there anyway to fix this, or is this the phone's problem :con?

1st u have 2 make the 2 phone face2face with the IR and u have 2 rename the photo befpr send and than send it that's all have nice time

And what good will that do?He can't rename it back to the original extension on the 7250i.

We cant send files from 6600 to 7250i.
7250i needs uploader..

i don't really understand the "rename the file first".. wat do i rename it to? :con?

Also, how about other phones, (e.g. 6100), i can't send files to them either. :frown: and is it possible to send files to other branded phones via infrared, because i tried to send photos to my friend with a LG U8110 and it didn't work either.

Had the same problem, dunno how to fix, but i can transfer to newer phones ie 3200, just not the 7250, 7210
