It says in the manual that the battery wont be giving full charge till the 3rd charge/discharge cycle.

I have charged my phone for 16 hours when i first got it (which I was told to do so in the shop), and now it is bleeping battery low.

My question is how long do i charge the battery for? Another 16 hours? Or should I just charge it until it says that it is finished charging on the screen?

Any ideas? A mate of mine who has the same phone mentioned that his battery doesnt last long at all because he thinks he didnt do the initial charge properly, so dont want the same thing to happen to me! :o

Charge the Phone only Until it says Battery Full if you overcharge it too much it will not last long; trust me i know first hand

I always wait for the cell to die and then I charge for 5 to 15 hours... Usually when I go to bed..

My last 3320 battery worked perfectly doing this... It was always fully charged and when the first indicator disappeared, the others went quickly.. Original battery was lasting 4-5 days when I sold ..

First charges should be at least 8 hours....

In the manual you can read that it is not good to leave the battery charging for more than one week!!!! A few hours more like 8 hours just give more charge to it!

I've already done 3 charges in my 6600 and it is lasting 1-2days with heavy use..

As stated previously, let it run down then charge it overnight. If you have bluetooth on this will drain your battery quite fast, so watch out for that.
