hi all, can you help me out please?

I'v e recently bought a 6600 of ebay, its working fine, unlocked, was on orange now on O2 contract.

My problem is I've managed to download some .awb files and can play them fine on the phone but can't get them to work as the ring tone?!?!? I've been into profiles and personallised them and then activated the general profile but no good!!! :frown:
It also won't work for giving individual people their own ring tone that i've tried assigning to them?

any ideas, am i being stupid ( probably!)

First off, Welcome to AAS!! :icon14:

Try to do a search for a thread which might match you questions bofore you post...This has been covered before! and just creates duplicate postings. ;)

Make sure the file are located in sounds/digital, if they arn't there they will not show up when selecting ringtonez from the profiles screen. (this is also covered in the Nokia & Orange manuals :o )
