Just a quick question.. Ive got a Nokia 6600 and was wondering where the sms are stored? I formatted my phone because it wouldnt stay on (kept restarting) and all my sms are now gone. arent they meant to be stroed on my sim card??

By default they are stored in the phone memory,which you can change to mmc.

When you format,all the phone memory is erased but the mmc is left untouched.

no they arent stored on the sim card but you can save a few there (20 i think)if you are changing phone or smething

the default setting is to save them to the phone memory but you can change by doing this

Menu----->Messagng----->Options----->Settings----->Other----->Memory In Use----->then select the memory you want to use
