I have got a problem with my P900. The screen calibration has suddenly gone so far out that I cannot access the menu to recalibrate it(as you have to use the pen to do so).

Does anyone know another way to reset the screen calibration. I have tried the master reset on the phone but this didn`t work unfortunately.

Thanks,

Rob

Go to Control Panels in the desktop of your P900
- select Display
- select screen
- select "Calibrate Screen"

Good luck.

Yes I`ve tried that but as the screen is so far out of normal calibration the furthest i can access on the screen is the 'done' button on screen. It treats everything else as below this. As the screen tab is above the done button I cannot access the screen tab.

Anyone have any ideas. I have tried the master reset function, and also upgrading the firmware.

There is an app where you can remote control your P900 from your PC (I believe it was called RemotePx00 or something like that). You could try accessing the calibration from your pc...

I have the same problem, and yes I tried the remote p900 program, but I think is a touchscreen hardware problem;I'm calling SE for warranty.

Have a similar problem !

The calibration works fine on most of the screen (except for the keyboard icon on the bottom).. It always clicks above of where it should.. So, I intentionally calibrate the bottom right area of the screen to click a bit lower, but this also screws all other icons on the screen.

I tried to calibrate the screen multiple times.. Have also master reset the phone, used the jog dial to set the calibration to default.. None of these work to fix this problem.
