Hi guys, does anyone here know where to download Opera Browser (full/trial version) and how to install it in the phone coz my 6600 has got none.

Please share some insights...

but it is FILE CORRUPTED that is appearing as i install "opera_s60_610_asia_nokia6600.sis" on my phone.

Any idea why?

I've tried all different versions from opera.com and they all say"unable to read file" right at the end of the installation, and i get the opera icon in the menu but it dont work, any ideas anyone? please :)

We've had a couple of reports of problems with 4.09.1, but not with your version. Don't know what it might be, but it sounds like a problem with the phone or installer application.

Got it working, i removed the memory card, installed on the phone and it worked, put the card back in still working, does this mean there is a problem with my memory card, also its says i have 14 days left of my evaluation period, not good it was the full version :frown:

Yeah - that's the same with me. I had Opera with the phone when I first got it, then I Hard Reset and it's gone. Obviously it's an OEM version but it'd have been nice if Nokia had provided us with a CD and S/N - now how am I gonna find the S/N?....... :frown:

I couldn't install the multi-lingual version of opera, but the UK version did install correctly. I'm getting lot's of things that won't install even if my phone is set on automatic. v4 firmware update maybe did something w/ localization and installer?
