My 6600 has taken a turn for the worse and now crashes everytime I try to install or uninstall a Java application. Just at the point of install or uninstall an error message saying "App closed childinstaller" pops up on screen and then I am left lookign at the installation bar on the screen but nothing happens. If i try to cancel it it still remains stuck. Only a reboot remedies the situation.

Can anyone offer some advice on what to do, how to remedy this situation?

I also have another error message which pops up every time i restart the phone saying "App closed ssdaemon" or something liek that but apart from being annoying it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

Any help would be most appreciated.

the childinstaller problem hs been covered already so you can search the forum for the answer to that but i have never heard the other one
