Hello,

Is there an extended battery for Nokia 6600 available, cuz the standard battery plainly put sucks. If so where can I find one.

Thanx.

Really???

Man, I was about to purchase it. It will be another $40 bucks down the drain for me. Phew.

Hey! Thanks for the warning. :)

I'd wish there were an extended battery.
I swear, I can't get this battery to last for more than 2 days without a recharge. Whether I talk or not! I once spoke continuously for 6 1/2 hours and after 4 1/2 hours I had to connect it to the charger and I kept it there for just 20 minutes (the mob had just given me the 1st battery empty message; I kept on talking throughout those 20 mins) and I continued to speak afterwards.

That was... a miracle :D
Other than that fortunate accident, my battery just doesn't last.

What are talk times like on your 6600s?

Battery life and bluetooth have to be the worst things about the 6600. No sniff mode, and no headset profile in bt, and the battery with bt switched on or off is perthetic. My N-gage using the same battery gets longer life, and that is with constant games use by me and the kids.

I haven't charged my phone for 3 days and it still has all the battery lines. Though BT does dramatically drain the battery. It's just that I haven't used BT since the last recharge. Luckily I don't have a BT headset yet so I don't actually need to USE the phone with BT, I just use the Loudspeaker function.

Lol. My Nokia 6600 has be formatted a few times, so the Log has been "cleaned out"

Wonder if there's a prog around that can edit those numbers lol
There's a competition at school, on who's Log is longest.
Guess I'm losing again ...

I can get at least 2 days battery life on standby if no Bluetooth or GPRS is used.

Bluetooth and GPRS are the Battery killers.

Bluetooth will run my battery down in less than a day if enabled all the time.
