First time here in this board, but it looks really interesting. Nice infos guys.
I got just one litte problem with my 7650, since all other probs got solved thanks to all the guys here in the forum asking all the stupid questions i would have asked now :)

I got my 7650 connected via bluetooth and it seems to work pretty well. I can use the Pc Suite and i can even send files to my 7650 (any sort of files) by just dragging them over to the 7650 icon on my desktop. The only thing i can't get to work is sending files FROM my 7650 to my pc. Everytime i try to send a picture, soundfile or whatever via bluetooth it says connection failed. I Dunno why since i can transfer the photos with pc suite in any direction.

I use the Bluetooth Dongle from Acer called BT500.

www.acer-euro.com is one of the links. I just downloaded the new 1.2 Version of the bluetooth software, but same results. Anyone got a clue for me since everything else is working. Could it just be the Dongle that makes problems ie changing to a other bluetooth device maybe might help?

Which Devices do you guys use, and is there one device you tested and say it 100% works in any directon NOT using the PC Suite. I mean just using the phone, having a picture, send it via bluetooth to pc.

Matrix, I can´t help you since I don´t use Bluetooth by now. But I have a question for you if you don´t mind. How can you select a soundfile to send it? I would like to can send midis or ringtones via IR or SMS, but I don´t find the option "send" to do it. Can you help me? Thanks!

This should be no problem at all since i send midi's, wav's or whatever to the phone, but i used bluetooth for it. Got a so called "public folder" within my bluetooth software and if i copy a file into it, it gets transferred to the phone and i get a "1 new message" like i got a sms. Then i open it and can save whatever it is in this sms. Since the 7650 recognizes many formats, ie .mid, .wav and some others including the most seriours picture formats it's just easy. If you dont have the way to do this, just try to setup a mail account you can access with the phone via wap/gprs, send a mail from your pc to the mail account and get the mail with the phone, just open the attachment ie an .mid file and you got it. Same should work with IR connections too i guess as long as you have a software that allows you to send ANY filetype to whatever IR device. A good tip if you have such a IR software is if you just call the files .OTA, this works with logos and sounds aswell so the phone recognizes them as original ringtone, picturemessage, operatorlogo and so on.

Just tried it and nope, wont work as far as i see. Maybe in some next versions of the software. You can't even use any other fomat then .amr if you use MMS mail ...very bad :(

Hm just tried to use the EFilemanager from PsiLOC at least with this tool you should be able to send it via IR to a other phone, try it and tell us the results. Since you can access any file on the system this should work. just tried around and you can access the digital sounds directory and so on where you normally have no option of "sending too". With efilemanger you have it.
Since i have my bluetooth problem and i cant set from the phone, i can't test it here, but you should do it with IR at least.

Yeah, it works! With eFile I can send midis and ringtones and all files via IR, Bluetooth, email and MMS.
