I just realised that my 7650 doesnt show these small pictures I saved to certain contacts when this persons call me up. Are there any setting I have overseen or does the 7650 not support this feature?

Yes, 7650 supports "small pictures" for contacs. Open a contact card, edit it, press Options and select "Add miniature or thumbnail" (sorry, I don´t know it in English). Then you can choose an image from your images folder.

chances r u hav the same number in more than a contact, this has confused the phone. Just keep 1 unique number in a contact and I am sure u can c the picture. ;)

I made this mistake at first...

There is an option to attach photos to a contact, but this is not the same as adding a thumbnail. I'm not sure what the purpose of adding the photo is.. I don't think I will ever use it anyway, but the thumbail option is a nice touch.

To add a thumbnail, go to the Contact -> Edit -> Add Thumbnail (as mentioned above).

Ok, thx for the replies, I had no problem to add the thumbnails - and I used thumbnails and not large photos .. the problem is that they are not shown at calls. But it could be that cwleo8888 is right - I have some nearly identical numbers stored, which only differ in one position or in the primary numbers. And this seems not enough to be identified, was the same with my previous handies - they dont show the name even it is stored in the contacts, and when they cant find the name they obviously cant find the pictues too.
