I posted this on the old board (maybe a bit late) but will paste here anyway

Did anybody happen to see the 3uk sites description of the a920 no more than 2 weeks ago? It clearly listed bluetooth, and I think, IRda but now ther is no mention of either! I made a print out as I have an a920 and we all know the BT and IR don't work at the mo'. The thing is, I can't find that print out and I fear the BT will now never be enabled There was a post on aussie 3g by spooksie, saying that 3cs had told him no update is planned so no BT and maybe no open os?
Anyway.... What I am after is somebody who happened to anticipate the change of info and took either a screen shot or saved the page offline. I need evidence to give me some ammo when I fight for my free upgrade to whatever phone sorts this problem, ( i don't want to cancel and get another phone because they will bill me for my 3 hours of xnet calls and numerous vid downloads) which will most likely be the a925 I've been hearing about.
Can anyone help? I'm sure a lot of us will be wanting to get something done about this. All their other shortcomings just wash over my head but this is clearly illegal, surely?

Just incase anybody is in the slightest bit interested, I found the print out, dated 11/09 (just realised the significance) and it clearly shows bluetooth AND infrared as features of the phone.
I will put it somewhere safe now and wait for them to try and screw me over this stupid lack of BT/IR.:p

Hi, thats great, can you post it somewhere so we can all have it and if 3 decide to have no bt or ird we can all have new phones

If it comes to that, I will post a scan of my print out (that sounds a bit off key don't it) so that everyone has proof. Hopefully it'll never be needed as 3 dish out a FREE update for us all, charging for it wouldn't be acceptable.

"Current handsets on the market have the hardware capability however will require a firmware upgrade.

The next versions of the A920 will have Bluetooth enabled. Certainly by November ( when the submissions close ) the A920's in the market will support Bluetooth. Hence the top 10 prizes include Motorola Bluetooth headsets.
