According to this posting (http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=UTF-8&selm=1104_1028390310%40news.opera.no) by an Opera member of staff on the Opera news server. The 9290 does not come with the Opera web browser :evil: only the 9210i does. At least this clarifies the confusion that people have been having over the 9290 browser but I think it is very bad for Nokia to release a new device with the old browser. Why would they do it? Awful PR.
