a few people already know about this & i'm sure its going to spread like fire.
follow these steps.

1. open the flip & remove the cover where u put the sim card in.

2. now dial a number u wish.

3. as soon the the party u called, picks up. REMOVE THE SIM CARD.

4. now u will be able to speak for a few mins without getting charged 7 the network detecting.

INTERNATIONAL CALLS ....here i come.

No, it doesn't work. You call is charged from network side. It knows the SIM that calling, and will still charge you untill the call ends.

And of course postting this to a Forum with a lot of nokia.com domain visitors (and some of them likely to be involved in firmware upgrades and/on Network liasons) is a really smart move if it did work.

Yeah and I really dont approve of posts like these. They could get me into trouble since someone has to be somewhat responsible for the content..

Erm yeah. that would be really useful being able to talk for several minutes before the network catches on and shuts you down

let me try it... oh no, wait
you could only do it for a COUPLE SECONDS before the phone shut it down and asked for it's SIM card back.


If you're that desperate for free calls to people, just get a job in a call centre
