i´ve just formated my phone, a week ago. and everything was looking really cool until now :(

i was just surfing through my phone, and was supposed to write a message. but when i started typing, i couldn´t get letters.. only chars, and when i try pressing the "#^"-butten to the lower right, nothing happens :(

and the sadest thing is, when i try preferences -> phone -> general, i won´t execute.. this is the message i get..

"program closed
gs
CONE14"

the latest program i installed, was "wildskinz".. maybe that has something to do with the problem?

It IS wildskinz - do a search, this problem has been posted many times..

Reinstall wildskins if it's uninstalled..
Enable it
reboot
disable it
reboot
check it's disabled
uninstall
reboot

You should be back in action

Some threads say you should also delete your system.ini file, but most people do not need to.

Also it sometimes does not appear to work first time - just repeat the above process again and you should be OK.

That WildSkinz it's a pretty buggy app. Remove it ASAP!!!

i´m at work now, and i´ve deleted "wildskinz". unfortunatly, i deleted it BEFORE i got this tip, so i´ve gotta reinstall it to get my phone working as normal. damn, i ain´t home (where my IR/PC suite is) before tonight..

and i´m sort of addicted to writing stuff on my phone. are there any other ways to get rid of this problem?

what happens if i delete system.ini? sounds scary :)

i did a little search, and found a solution to the problem :)
i took a chance, and deleted system.ini and a couple of wildskin files that i found, and now everythings okey again.. phew!

but thanks anyway, guys! what a whack app, the guys who made it should have bug-tested it before they make people install that bullcrap on their phones :) they deserve a slap!

i think i´ma try that sLaucher program instead!

Deleting system.ini will work, but then you also loose all your other settings too.

Yeah, sLauncher is on my avator.
You can change the way your menu system works and change your icons and the names of your applications :)
Plus the Taskmanager is much better than the default one.
