Now I'm able to play all these games on a device smaller than the original C64 tape drive :D

No more having to wait for them to load. As a kid, I used to load a game.... go fetch fish and chips..... and be back just in time as the start screen loaded :D

Loaded frodo onto my 7650, can anyone suggest websites where i mite get some games. Apologies, if it's been asked already.

There's a great selection of games here, but they don't have my all time fave C64 game :( It's called 'Menace' and it's by Psygnosis. Has anyone played that? The soundtrack was awesome! :)

what a bless this software really is. ;) Oh the sickening memories from the past when we had no tape-turbos and it took approx 30mins to load DIGDUG onto c64. When the 1541 came out we were like "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT" and it costed like hell (350$) but after that and pinkfloyd (tm) disc-turbo the life went like dick on vaselin. :D

menace was your favorite game? i can show you where it is but its warez so i wont. just use some creativity with GOOGLE. ;)

Just installed Frodo, but I can't seem 2 figure out how 2 get the games on2 my phone and run them in Frodo. I have bluetooth, so where do I install the game files (.t64 or .d64 format) ? I tried sending them in2 my Inbox but Frodo doesn't c them from there. Do I need 2 use SeleQ 2 install them in2 a particular folder ? Please help, coz Wizball, Paradroid and many others r calling me !! LOL :D

Also, I have a CD-ROM that I bought ages ago with a few PC C64 emulators on, including an earlier version of Frodo 4 the PC and it has almost every C64 game known 2 man on there, all in .t64 or .d64 format. Can I assume that these will work on my 7650 ?

just send those ***.D64 and ***.T64 files to your INBOX or make a directory
C:\DOCUMENTS\E32FRODO and place the disc/tape images there.
Run the frodo and choose DISC. have fun.

This is a good site to get all games for C64 that you want... (not warez)
from A to Z .. wood a good search.

Hate to rain on the parade, but Rom Images, even of old Spectrum and Comoodore) games are in fact illegal software, except in cases where the author and owners have specifically released them as PD.

Let's not goet into the emulation arguement again. Talk on old games is aceptable, but posting them here is not, sorry.

Ok - here's one of those stupid questions that I normally flame people for writing and tell them to search - but here goes..

How the bloody hell do I run a 2 disk game?
I have thelastninja in my inbox and frodo can see it - yet I run disk one and nothing happens - I run disk 2 and nothing happens - I run disk one again and frodo crashes..

Sorry for the stoopid question but I can not find the answer nor can I find an faq or help file :(

The frodo saves are rom images. :P
But its true you cant run .crt files on frodo.

I must be very stoopid then ;)

Hi guys,

am I being completely stoooopid, or is there something obvious i'm not doing ? I'm trying 2 get C64 games on2 Frodo.

This is what i'm doing.....

Send game file (.t64 or .d64 files) via bluetooth 2 Inbox.....nothing :(

Or

cut and paste file from Inbox 2 C:\apps\e32frodo......nothing :x

I start Frodo up, try using the disk option and launch game option and get a screen saying "No Data"

Please, some1 help me !!!

Do yourselves a favour guys, get monty on the run.......what a game that was.

I'm really having hard time with frodo,i was unable to start none of the games i tried(rambo,ghost and goblins,ghostbuster).My "success" was rambo,i got until some cheat selection and after that some dark blue screen.Ghost and goblins starts and just hangs on first screen with the knight and two monsters.Does it take long to start a game? Maybe my images are screwed up.

I've been getting games from www.sitedeleted.com and so far they have all been fine (apart from last ninja)

Made me realise just how crap the c64 was!!
I thought the graphics & gameplay was great in those days!!

There are games whose status has been changed by the developer/author distributor to free,they are the only ones which are legal to use without prior owning it.

amiga emulator wud be wikid or atari. i got all the dizzy series on me fone atm. but still cant get past the first levels thou.

Well, all praise to mods for removing the links to C64 roms but I'd appreciate that you first check the links you remove.

One of the links I had lead only to info site on one game, and it didn't have a download link in it. So please check links before you delete them!
