I have a lot of polyphonic ringtones, I just need a mp3 to mid converter, wich can conwert all at once, without any special setting, and so. Any one who know a good prog. Then i can post them in here. If allowed...

You cant make midi files from wavs, (that are any good / usable).
But you can try if you want... But it is not possible!

I have about 2000 midi files which all work as ring tones which I downloaded from a Kareoke site about 6 months back, they arn't catatlogued or anything, they just have file names so it is possible to identify them roughly, if anyone wants them i'll think about putting them online.

Hedshox: I would definately like to see some decent tones online. I bought one of those cds from Ebay, you know the ones which save you downloading stuff, the tones are rubbish. If anyone can point me in the direction of a Tubular Bells (a decent version) polyphonic, i would much appreciate.

(or if they could send lee@bonfield2k2.freeserve.co.uk)

Nice .wav site above by the way! Now whenever i get a text Morpheus asks me if i "want to know what...IT...is?" :D :D fantastic!

Delfino: Thanks for the advice, but the polyphonics on that site are exactly the same as on the aforementioned Ebay CD!

I think I may have got you guys a little too excited, these files arn't ring tones, they are full songs, like 3 mins long and 15kb each. They sound amazing but the problem is if you use them as ring-tones you have to have the full song so you only usually hearing the intro to the song before you answer it!

Oh and there arn't 2000, only 1717 :P

try http://www.the7650.com/ this is a really good sight and if you look under wave tunes then there are some good message and ringtones , the ringtones are a .wav file on a loop so you get rid of the intro and they are louder than midis plus you can have a ringtone with words rather than just music

Personally, I find the Voice memo is great for creating "custom" ring tones and they can be very loud indeed.

I have recorded a normal phone for an "office acceptable" ring tone. I have a recording of a car horn for text messages. However, the ultimate is a ring tone that is the sound of someone returning a cardigan to a shop, without the receipt, because it is too chunky (Harry Hill fans might know what I'm on about)!

You can even get people to record their own voices for you, and then assign that as ring tone to their contact details. Then, when that person rings you, your phone shouts at you, in their voice "Oi, pick up the phone!"

I have too much free time

Well yeah, but a GENIUS with too much free time! That 'oi pick up the phone' thing is inspired!! :D
