No it's a freeware, but they removed it and I don't know why.
You can find it at www.my-symbian.com in 7650 aplications list.

Actually it is the shareware version.of the originals id's doom that contains only the first episode(8 levels). When it was first released wildpalm was selling it but after some time the status of the app changed...

8 levels are enough, so has anyone tried it. I mean suceeded in starting it.

it only runs from phone memory NOT MMC .

It does run from MMC.

There's some kind of additional launcher for it that enables you to run it from the MMC. I don't recall where you can get it from, though (I tried it at one point just to see if it worked; it did, but I don't like the game, so I don't have it any longer).

Yes, there is MMC patch and it works fine on my phone.
It can't run from MMC without the patch, because it's hardcoded to try to find files from phone memory.
